We have an outstanding opportunity for a State and Local Tax (SALT) Manager for a Fortune 500 company in Philadelphia.  The ideal candidate will have 10 years + of experience.  Big 4 experience a plus.

Duties include:

·        Responsible for sales/use and telecomm tax audit defense. 

·        Tax planning, accounting, research and compliance as needed. 

·        Assist in analysis of accounting reserve (FAS 5). 

·        May serve as primary contact on projects with outside counsel, business partners or affiliated and subsidiary businesses.

·        Ability to manage and implement multiple complex projects and work with individuals in diverse functional areas. 

·        People management, communication skills; analytical and problem resolution skills.

·        Experience and technical expertise in sales/use and telecomm tax audits, compliance, research, and accounting.

·        Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and Access.

·        Bachelor's degree accounting or equivalent degree. 

·        CPA, graduate tax degree and/or JD preferred.
